Cetalox is an ingredient that was synthesised in the 1950’s and has traditionally been used as a base in fragrance as it enhances all of the notes around it. It’s kinda like when you add a pinch of salt to your cooking - it doesn’t change the flavour, it just gives it a little more oomph.
So that is exactly what this scent does - gives a little more oomph. So when you wear Not a Perfume alone, it has a pheromone effect. This is a fabulous scent to wear if you have allergies or sensitivities to fragrance as this is the one singular note that doesn’t irritate. A scent that is sometimes hard to smell on the skin directly but when you walk past, it creates an air of amazingness.
