Room 1015
One of the scents that completely and absolutely defines Room 1015 and Dr Mike in particular is Electric Wood. A sentimental nod to his first guitar - the guitar he begged his dad for as a wee youngster. When his dad returned from a work trip with the much anticipated guitar as a gift this was a life changing moment as Dr Mike opened the case of his new Gibson.
With all senses coming alive, the scent of the guitar’s wood, lacquer and metal filled the space. This was not only a memorable moment, but a life changing moment as Dr Mike fell in love with music. He eventually ended up working in pharmacology, but the lure of a life of music beckoned and he threw himself into the music, touring the world with his band, making a life playing guitar.
Eventually, Dr Mike decided to fuse his two loves together - music and pharmacology creating Room 1015. As one of his original fragrances in the line, Electric Wood is an integral part of the Room 1015 story, and of course, an ode to all guitarists out there. A woody, yet slightly spicy, while also clean fragrance, Electric Wood comes alive like a bold riff with soft nuances and gentle melodies balancing it perfectly.
